"The fear and dread of
you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth, and upon all the birds in the air,
upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish in the
sea; they are given into your hands." Genesis 9:2
Until this time, it sounds as if the animals had no fear of men. It was at this point that they came to be fearful of mankind as we see them now. Why did God make animals afraid of mankind? Why didn't he make them afraid before the flood?
